Contact

Email support@pacemoneyapp.com. This is the one address for support, privacy questions and data requests. We reply within 2 business days.

Please include your Pace version, your iPhone model and iOS version, and what happened. Do not send backup files, balances, or other financial details unless we ask.

The quickest way is Settings → Contact Support in the app, then Write Email. It writes an email to this address with the subject "Pace Support", and you send it yourself. To add technical details first, tap Review Diagnostic Report, read it, then tap Attach to Email. The report contains app, device and error details, never your records, and Pace adds nothing about your finances to the email. If your iPhone has no mail account set up, Pace opens your email app without the report, and Share Report Instead lets you send the report another way.

Questions

Do I need an account?

No. Pace works without an account or sign-in.

Where is my data?

Only on your iPhone. We never receive your records. If your iPhone backs up to iCloud or a computer, iOS includes Pace in that backup.

Does Pace sync between devices?

Not yet. To move to a new iPhone, use Apple's iPhone transfer or restore from a device backup, or export a Pace backup and restore it on the new iPhone.

What does Pace send over the internet?

Currency codes and a date when it looks up an exchange rate. An investment's symbol, the text you search for and the currency when it looks up a price, which you can turn off in Settings → Privacy & Security. Usage data only if you turned on Share Usage Data, and never amounts, names or notes. A support email only when you send it. The privacy policy has the details.

Pace showed an error. What now?

If Pace can't open your data, it keeps your existing data and does not reset or replace it. Tap Try Again. If an error keeps coming back, tap Get Help, which opens this page, and email us, from Settings → Contact Support with the diagnostic report attached if Pace opens. Don't delete the app to fix it: deleting Pace removes its data from your iPhone.

Can I add an expense without opening Pace first?

Yes. Say "Add expense in Pace" to Siri, or find it in Spotlight or the Shortcuts app, or assign it to the Action button. On iOS 18 and later you can also add Pace's Add Expense control to Control Center or the Lock Screen. Both open Pace on Add Transaction, and app lock still applies.

How do I hide amounts or lock Pace?

Settings → Privacy & Security. Lock Pace uses Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode. Hide Financial Values masks amounts until you show them again.

Where do exchange rates come from?

The European Central Bank's euro reference rates, through Frankfurter. Cross rates are calculated. If a rate is unavailable, you can enter your own.

How do I import transactions?

Settings → Data Management → Import Transactions, then choose a CSV file. Pick the format that matches the file: Generic CSV, Buddy / finance app, Wallet by BudgetBakers, or Money Manager. You review the rows before anything is saved, and you can undo an import later from Import History.

What does Premium include?

Premium lets you create more than three wallets. You can buy it as a subscription or as a one-time lifetime unlock. The plans are Premium Monthly, Premium Yearly, which starts with a 2-week free trial, and Premium Lifetime, paid once. Prices are shown in the app before you buy, with the date of the first charge after a trial.

How do I cancel or restore Premium?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. In Pace, Settings → Premium has Manage Subscription and Cancel Subscription, which both lead to Apple's page. Cancelling stops renewal at the end of the current period or trial. A lifetime unlock is a single payment, so there is nothing to cancel. Both come back on a new iPhone signed in to the same Apple Account: tap Restore Purchases in Settings → Premium, or on the Premium screen. To ask Apple for a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com.

Back up and restore

  1. Open Settings → Data Management → Backup & Restore.
  2. Tap Export Complete Backup and save the file somewhere you trust, such as Files or iCloud Drive.
  3. To restore, tap Choose Backup to Restore and pick the file. Pace shows a summary first.
  4. Tap Replace Local Data with This Backup to confirm.

Settings shows a quiet reminder when 30 days or 100 transactions have passed since your last backup. A backup includes your records, history and attachments. It is not encrypted, so keep it private and delete copies you no longer need. Restoring replaces everything currently in Pace and does not merge. Export a current backup first if you might need today's data.

Delete your data

We hold none of your records, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side. For usage data or emails you sent us, write to the address under Contact.
